UK Fire Aquired by Connaught plc - July 2009
UK Fire is pleased to announce that it has been acquired by Connaught plc, Britain’s leading integrated services provider. With a turnover in excess of £550 million and over 8,500 employees Connaught have been active within the U.K.’s social housing, public sector and compliance markets for twenty five years. UK Fire will be an autonomous subsidiary of Connaught Compliance Limited; a division of the company with a turnover of £100 million which specialises in the provision of compliance services and training in the fields of fire safety, electricity, water, and gas. Connaught Compliance also offers health & safety and environmental training and risk management consultancy services throughout the U.K. Whilst UK Fire has been successfully providing fire services for organisations such as yours for almost 40 years, we believe that coupling our experience and expertise with the strength and capabilities of Connaught, will allow us to maintain the same high levels of service you have come to expect, whilst also offering the financial security afforded by one of the U.K.’s top 100 companies. What does this mean to you? Connaught Compliance Limited is keen to retain continuity of service to U.K. Fire’s current customers, and our service provision will remain unaffected: • You will still deal with the same people, as UK Fire employees have retained their positions, and Connaught appreciate that the most valuable asset they have acquired is our highly skilled and motivated workforce. • The same equipment, suppliers, assessments and report formats will continue to be used. • Whist over time the Connaught brand will be adopted, we will keep you fully informed of any planned changes and our primary focus will remain customer satisfaction in all areas of our business. I would like to thank you for choosing U.K. Fire as your fire protection specialist to date and look forward to strengthening the relationship between our companies in the future.
